{studio news} this and that

First off. The image above..sisters. I love it!

Second. I just celebrated my anniversary. Still feel like the luckiest lady in the world!

I am so happy that spring is here. I spent the last few days of winter pumping 8 inches of water out of my basement…but feel fortunate that nothing was damaged or lost. When we bought our home our new neighbors warned us of possible flooding so we kept everything off the ground. I also found out that my metallic Hunter rain boots are not only fashion fabulous but also functional!

I love photographing weddings because I love people. Last week I meet with two incredible couples and I’m so thrilled that they selected my studio to photograph their weddings.
Meeting with Hannah (Hannah & Craig 7.31.2010} this week to go over the details of their 4 day European wedding. She has sent me images of some of her wedding details and I am counting down the days.
I am still behind on my blog posts. There is a lot going on behind the scenes here at the studio☺ so stay tuned.
and…this is long over due but my images from my trip Peru are being featured on the Choclo Project website, a French clothing company doing amazing work to help the children of Peru! Check out the images under the active artist section.

Ernie and Easter!

So I brought Ernie to the studio with me last Sunday. He was very well behaved! Nothing was destroyed which is always a good thing. A few new clients stopped in to visit as well as old clients. Leslie and Steve {10~25~08} stopped in to say hi. It was great to see them…because they rock! They were surprised to see a big Ernie in front of them, (they expected to see a little Ernie because that is the only image that I have of him on my blog!) So today is all about ERNIE!

One of my most glam couples of 2007 can be found on page 100 of the latest issue of Grace Ormonde magazine!!! Mike and Julie were married at Kings Chapel followed by a beautiful city reception at the Omni Parker house! Their day was seamless thanks to the wonder powers of Erica and Co.

STUDIO NEWS: Cover Shot Baby!!!

Yesterday I was contacted by Expectant Mother’s Guide magazine and learned that one of my pregnancy images will be used on the cover of the next issue!! So exciting!!
As you know the studio will be launching a belly/baby/family website later this summer so stay tuned!


In other studio news. This past weekend we went to Connecticut for Tony and Jackie’s wedding. Lovely and hip!
I also meet up with had a Rob, Julie and their dog Henry for their Quincy e~session. Peek back on Friday too see images of my weekend extravaganza!!

So very exciting…the studio just found out that George and Becca’s June 2007 wedding will be featured in Seacoast Bride Magazine!!! The Meyers were married on charming Peaks Island, Maine. Their wedding was an elegant yet festive affair!! This couple was absolutely lovely and I can’t wait to see them the next time that I am in D.C!!!
