Studio News

I had a fabulous surfing vacation but believe it or not I am so happy to be home.
My husband and I spent our vacation in a tiny little surf town on the pacific coast of Costa Rica called Dominicalito. At first it was hard to me to relax..I actually started to make to do list for when I get back. Nope not even kidding. I don’t have too many stories to tell because my daily activities included: Drinking amazing coffee, walking the beach looking for heart shaped rocks, (I'm not a heart shape kind of girl but I do collect heart shaped rocks and shells when strolling the beach) surfing, lots and lots of reading and believe it or not...cooking. I almost never cook in my non-vacationing life but for some reason when on vacation I become inspired …maybe it is because the house that we rented is on a property that is landscaped with coconut palms, banana trees, wild cilantro and oregano. My daily diet consisted of sangria, mahi-mahi, homemade slasa, and more sangria!! We bought fresh fish and jumbo shrimp from the local fisherman and simply put yummy! Last year we were the only ones on the beach when we spotted Danny Devito, Rita Pearlman and their children walking down the beach setting up camp right next to us!!!
I have to tell everyone about a fun little camera that I husband brought along this trip. It is the Olympus Stylus 770 SW. This camera is a small point and shoot digital camera that happens to be waterproof…I am not talking rain waterproof I mean underwater in the ocean or pool waterproof!! This camera also allows you to make mini movies!! Loved it!!
No monkey sightings in Dominicalito but when we escaped for a few days and went to explored Manual Antonio monkeys invaded our hotel room balcony.
My vacation photography project was based on shapes and textures that caught my eye while walking Dominicalito beach.
It is great to be back in the studio and peek back this weekend to view George and Becca’s 6~9~07 island wedding currently being featured in Seacoast Bride Magazine!!!

Cyril and Cristin ~Married!!!

My last wedding of the 2007 “season” spilled into 2008!! Last night Cyril and Cristin were married at the gorgeous St. Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill with a reception at The Sheraton Commander Hotel in Harvard Square. Cristin is a busy busy BC law school student who somehow made planning a wedding look stress free. Cyril’s entire family traveled from Ireland to celebrate their big day. Although the traditional Irish music did get the party on the dance floor I think it would of happened anyway!!! Cristin’s sister Cara was such a sweet bridesmaid. I don’t have any sisters so it is always so sweet to see that sisterly wedding day love!! Cyril and Cristin have a wonderful 2008!!
P.S I knew I forgot something (so did the groom)…Cyril arrived at the church WITHOUT the wedding rings. He zipped back to the hotel, picked up the rings and made it back just in time for the ceremony. Cristin was wonderfully laidback and had a little help “hiding” from her future husband before the ceremony…scroll down to see what I mean!!!

Published~ The Knot Magazine

Exciting News: The studio just learned that Mike and Lynn’s August garden wedding will be featured in The Knot Magazine Fall 2008!!! We are thrilled...wow what a way to start off 2008!!!

Thank you 2007 and Hello 2008

The studio had a blast in 2007 with so many fabulous weddings, meeting amazing people and traveling all over New England. Special thanks to my 2007 team: Fon, Kellie, James, Edson and of course Meredith!!! The studio has so much to look forward to in 2008. We will be updating our website, adding slideshows, design albums for our fabulous 2007 newlyweds and adding a gallery dedicated just to newborns!!! Check back in April as I have plans to offer some exciting newborn promotions!! The studio will be on location quite a bit this winter but I am always available via email. My laptop goes where I go and this allows me to work on albums no matter where I am…I love it!! In 2008 the studio will continue working with Volunteers In Action and MAR.E: The Heart Gallery…both of these non-profits help out many people across the state of Massachusetts.

We will be kicking off the 2008 wedding season with Cyril and Cristin's Boston wedding this Saturday Jan 5th. Peek back next week to view images from their big day!! It should be a blast with a large number of guests traveling from Ireland!!! Having just return from Ireland I can tell you that this will be a festive celebration!!!

Married: Mike and Julie 12~29~07!!!

Guilty: Love in the 1st degree!!!
Mike and Julie are both trial attorneys and they hosted an elegant and festive Boston wedding with a beautiful candlelit ceremony at King’s Chapel and reception at the historical Omni Parker Hotel. Julie was truly stunning in a gorgeous updo that was complimented her fabulous Vera Wang gown!!! Julie changed into gold dance shoes and it soon became apparent why..This couple can dance!!!
Special thanks to the Suffolk Law School who opened the law library and allowed us to photograph the newlyweds in a spot where they spent quite a few hours studying for the bar. Thanks Mike and Julie for being so fun and willing to run around the city with us!!
