Jim and Melanie: Married 10~04~2008!!

Where shall I start in describing my favorite Pittsburgh newlyweds and their wedding..?

1. Melanie is known here at the studio as my “red shoes” bride. She is insanely talented, creative, organized, gorgeous and is madly in love with her high school sweetheart HUSBAND!!!
2. Jim is almost always smiling…probably because he is madly in love with his high school sweetheart WIFE!!!
3. The pin on Melanie’s bouquet handle was purchased in Ireland and borrowed from her maternal grandmother.
4. When Jim and Melanie got engaged Jim has three requests: great food (including pirogues) great beer, and a banana chocolate cake in honor of the cake his parents had at their wedding. There was a cake cutting station…Love that idea!!!
5. Mechanics Hall was the perfect backdrop for the 1930’s glam energy of this wedding….amazing vinage furniture, spotlights and plenty paint the town red RED!
6. Special thanks to the wedding party who “played” in traffic with us and to the guest who started spin the bottle on the dance floor!!
