Baby Story: Alice Jean…a sneak peek.
The Heart Gallery : Morris
Once again I was happy to be a volunteer photographer for MARE and The Heart Gallery. MARE does amazing work in finding loving and permanent homes for the foster children of Massachusetts. I had the chance to spend some time with little man Morris. He loves birds, bugs, airplanes and he is so curious…just look at him!!
Last week I photographed Jessica at her beautiful new office in Brookline. Jessica does amazing work and her office matches her personality….warm, sunny and peaceful. I was so happy to see Jessica again as it has been a couple years since she visited my studio for some pre-wedding photography. To learn more about Jessica and her work please visit www.jessicafoley.com…new website coming soon!

Graham and Erin~ Married~ 06.21.08
Meet my new friends Erin and Graham.
The word lovely just skims the surface on describing these two. Erin has a sweetness that if she bottled and gave away the world would be a better place. Graham is a from Ireland and…okay we all now that I'm a freckled Irish girl so need I say more.
Graham and Erin were married last Saturday at the stunning St Ignatius Church in Chestnut Hill. The rooftop garden at the reception was so much fun and their guests loved the view of the city. Family and friends travel from all over the country to laugh, cry and dance the night away. Graham’s family completed the celebration with a toast and prayers spoken in Gaelic. Special thanks to the bridal party especially the girls and to my fabfab assistant Kayte.

E~session: Melanie and Jim
High school sweethearts Melanie and Jim drove all the way from Pittsburg for their e~session. They only got a few hours of sleep prior to the session yet they were so full of energy (thank you Red Bull) and were up for anything…I love that!! They took me to a couple of their childhood sweet spots and it was so much fun! This couple is the perfect combination of sweetness, romance, creativity and personality!! Can’t wait until their 10~08 wedding.
P.S. Melanie will be wearing fabulous red shoes on her wedding day…and that is just one of the many colorful details of the day!!

Yesterday I participated in The South End Open Market. Okay so the weather was not amazing for an outdoor artisan market but I have very good luck with the weather while photographing weddings so I won’t be greedy. Here is a peek at my booth. Due to the weather I did not set up my portrait area but I will next time (July 20th!!)
Yesterday I had two customers who told me about Etsy. Etsy is a website which focuses primarily on providing the general public with a way to buy and sell handmade items. I love it!!

Studio News: South End Open Market
Today I will be participating in The South End Open Market!! That’s right…this hip crazy popular artisan market invited me to display some of my fine art b&w prints! If you are walking around the city with dad stop by and visit us! I am going to attempt to set up a shooting area in my booth where I will be offering complimentary portrait sessions for all the dads in the crowd.
The market is located in the South End of Boston on Harrison Ave and is open from 10-4.
Peek back in a few days to see some images of the day. I will also be posting images from Melanie and Jim’s e~session. They drove all the way from Pittsburg for the session and they where up for anything....you’ll see what I mean!!
P.S. Happy Father’s Day Dad!!

Glenn and Gillian~ Married~ 06~07~08
This past weekend we traveled to Vermont for Glenn and Gillian’s country wedding! It was quite the weekend!!
Gillian was born and raised in Manhattan. Glenn was born and raised in Vermont. She is an artist. He is an engineer. What they have in common (besides their love for Pac-Man) is that they not only love each other but they are loved by so many. Loves ones traveled from all over the country to share in G&G’s weekend extravaganza!
The rehearsal dinner was hosted at the Mt. Philo Inn where the champagne was flowing all evening. Father of the bride hosted an after hours party at the hotel…yes the champagne was flowing there too!!
Wedding day was beautiful and Gillian looked stunning. I loved that Gillian had a four-leaf clover that has been in her family for generations…she wore it in her shoe!! Also the lace on her wedding dress was actually made from her mother’s wedding veil. The Starry Night CafĂ© was the perfect location for this wedding. The space was once an old cider mill and is located in the town of Ferrisburg.
Special Thanks: Jen and Leslie who made all the paper lanterns that looked so pretty at night floating on the pond. Big thanks to newlyweds who provided us with hotel accommodation right on Lake Champlain!! Have a great time in the Hamptons!!
