Studio News: Peru~Babies~Website

PERU: Senor Ruben Zambrano

I just got back from my photo trip to Peru where I was documenting the life of Senor Ruben Zambrano. This documentary project took me to the center of Lima, had me ordering sheep head soup and took me and my cameras over 5,000 feet up into the heart of the Peruvian Andes.
I have thousands of images to edit but I will be posting a blog edit within the next couple of weeks as well as explaining how this project got started 10 years ago and why I just had to go back to finish it!
I will be answering all emails by Sat March 1st.

2007 Couples and 2008 Babies!!!

While I was away I received an email from one of my favorite 2007 couples Alyssa and Chuck (who are currently feature in this seasons issue of The Knot Magazine) and they are expecting a baby girl!!! Also expecting are Karen and Erika…peek back this summer to see their Baby Story and Sheri and Justin who are over the moon thrilled!! Congratulations to everyone!

Studio News: Website~Small world~Photo tour

This week was a busy one!! In addition to baby sessions and several wedding consultations with wonderful couples who waited patiently for me to get back from my vacation to visit me at the studio, I managed to put the finishing touches my new website!! It will be "live" any day now.The new site will still have the same boutique look and feel as my current site but you know how we like to keep things fresh here at Katherinejane Photography!!

Small World
I was reminded once again that it is a small world after all!! Last Saturday I had a wedding consultation with Jennie (Jennie and Marcos 11~8~8) and her girls! They’re all originally from the Boston area but have been living in NYC for years. Marcos could not make the trip because he was lives Spain but the girlfriends where great substitutes. Anyway later that evening Jennie happened to be out to dinner with some old friends when she texted me asking me if I knew a guy named Eric X? I could not believe it!! Eric X and I are old friends. We went to college together, traveled together and even shared an apartment together when I lived in Chile. Turns out that Jennie is very good friends with Eric’s little brother Mike!! It is a small world after all. Needless to say I'm trilled to photograph Jennie and Marco’s Brooklyn e~session and their fall wedding at the gorgeous Harvard Club located in Downtown Boston!!

Jelly Bean Session~ Luz 5 months

Luz was a rock star baby. She loved the camera. I absolutely adore working with babies so much so that I am launching a baby photography website coming in this summer!! Luz of course will of course be a featured baby...I mean just look at her gorgeous eyes!!

Published~ Seacoast Bride Magazine!!

I walked into the studio yesterday and I was greeted by a wonderful package from Seacoast Bride magazine!! George and Becca’s June 2007 Peaks Island wedding looks amazing in this colorful publication. I am so very happy to be featured along side some of the industries leading wedding photographers!!!
