The Heart Gallery: Shaquon

We braved a chilly windy November day to meet 12-year-old Shaquon and I must say TOTALLY worth it. He is a little star and he will be a big one someday!! Shaquon made my day when he guessed my age…a wonderful 5 years younger than reality!! Shaquon will be featured in the February 2008 Heart Gallery.

STUDIO NEWS

Studio News: The fast few weeks have been all about editing my most recent weddings..fun to see everything all over again. I found this image from Roger and Krista’s Woodstock wedding. How adorable are these little dresses!!!! My 2007 wedding season is not over so peek back next week to view images from Greg and Katty’s wedding. I meet with Katty on Friday and she was one calm cool bride-to-be!!

The Heart Gallery
Heart Gallery: Such an amazing project!!!I am so proud to be involved with this non profit. Check back next week to see Shaquon's portrait.

ON Call: Sometimes I am an on call family portrait photographer. At the moment I am on call waiting to hear from first time dad Kevin. When I get his call I am off to the hospital to photograph the arrival of his little girl and mom and dads first moments as a family!!!

Elegant Affair

Last Thursday I was asked to photograph the Evening of Elegance at the historical Algonquin Club of Boston. The evening was just that…elegant. The flowers, music, and champage…not your average bridal show! I fell in love with the latest bridal fashions by Priscilla of Boston. STUNNING. To view more images pick up next months Boston Magazine!!!!

Graham and Erin e~session

We were neighbors once.
When Erin and Graham and I first started chatting about their wedding we discovered that we lived right around the corner from each other. Our nook was a secret quiet spot but still so close to city. We have since moved but as always the world is tiny.
The e~session.
Okay maybe I like Graham so much because he is Irish and we have that whole dry sarcastic humor thing in common. Or could it be that I like Graham simply because he loves his Erin so much that he would walk around the city, bounce around to different locations and backdrops and be the center of attention all for his lady!! And Erin...Hummmm hello perfect smile!!!
Erin and Graham are planning a June 2008 wedding with their ceremony at the gorgeous St. Ignatius church. Eight months and counting!!!!!

Truman and Sofia...again!!!!

Truman and Sofia are my fall munchkins. They have become familiar little faces on my fall portrait session calendar. They are little replicas of mom and dad and are so adorable. I was greeted by Mr. Truman and Miss Sofia and even got a change to catch up on the latest and greatest in the wonderful world of Sponge Bob.
PS. Before my session with Sofia and Truman I discovered Wilson Farm in Lexington, MA. I was in heaven…hot cider, homemade cider doughnuts, fresh bread, gorgeous flowers and a huge selection of pates and cheeses. Check out Wilson Farm here
