Jon and Alicia {married} Eastward Ho Country Club

I meet Alicia years ago when I was a world traveler. The last time I saw her she was working at the White House and I was about to I moved to France. We reconnected again via Facebook and before I knew it I was photographing her seaside wedding.

Alicia and Jon are a Washington, DC couple but choose Orleans on Cape Cod as the backdrop for their wedding. Their ceremony was in her parent’s backyard (no rain thank you very much!) and the Eastward Ho Country club hosted the reception. Yes Ho...but get your mind out of the gutter!

Alicia’s mother is better than Martha Stewart. She handled all floral arrangements and every other detail of this wedding. Unreal!

The Matron of honor’s toast brought everyone to tears, as you will see.

Special thanks to the bride’s best friend Erik for being my golf cart driver…with a gin and tonic in his hand, the entire time…going at fast rates of speed..over hills...fast. Gin. Tonic.

I first photographed Steve and Sarah over a year ago at Serge and Julie’s very cool Jazz Club wedding. They were so beautiful and in love that when Sarah called me regarding her wedding I knew exactly who I was talking to. I remembered them.

We met in Hoboken, NJ on a crazy hot and sticky August day. Sarah picked me up at the train station and by the time we met Steve and his cute kids we where BFF (mom I know you read my blog…BFF is not a hardcore drug …relax…it means best friends forever.)

I love this new little family.

Hoboken here we come!!!

Lew and Meriden {e-session}

College sweethearts Lew and Meriden are getting married this Saturday at one of my favorite venues Elm Bank!! These image are from their NYC e~session back in May. We meet near their apartment in Central Park on what was a hot, muggy and sticky day. Lew had just finished a road race and was staving but he pulled through for us. Meriden is gorgeous regardless of climate.

I have spoken to Meriden’s mom over 1 million times since they booked me (including Christmas day) and I can’t wait to finally meet her in person. I think she might be the sweetest woman on the planet.
