Mark and Yoshie were married at the Boston College Club located in downtown Boston. Guests traveled from all over the world including Japan to celebrate their love story. There were hints of the Japanese culture threaded throughout the wedding. Guests loved the sake verses champagne toast!
Mark’s mother is the creative genius behind B&G Sawin Florist and everywhere I turned I found gorgeous flowers…loved it. Normally the Boston College club offers an amazing view of the city but mother nature was feeling foggy…but nobody was looking out the windows anyway…they were looking at Mark and Yoshie (who is drop dead gorgeous.)
Special thanks to Mark and Yoshie...you are the best!
PS. Mark’s dad not only married the couple but he also plays a mean drum set!

V.O.A { I Remember Mama}

Every Saturday before Mother’s Day I volunteer with Volunteers of America, Mayor Thomas Menino, news anchor Susan Warnick and her mother Myrna in honoring isolated elderly women in the Boston area. V.O.A and their sponsors host a beautiful “ I Remember Mama” luncheon complete with flowers, live music, great food and gift bags. This event is so very important because many of these women would otherwise be forgotten.Here are some highlights from the event and I look forward to seeing everyone again next year!!

Lew & Meriden...near death by taxi {sneak peek}
Scott & Natalie { e~session}

Scott and Natalie are sweet. There is no other work that I could think of to describe them. Well, maybe another word would be gorgeous. Yes, gorgeous and sweet. Smart would be a good word too! Sweet, gorgeous and smart.
Natalie and Scott are planning wedding at The Boston Harbor Hotel. Peek back in October to see all about it! I met them at their home in Boston’s South End. They live next to the Buttery Cafe and just steps away from the best shopping in the city. It should not of surprised me to see Natalie wearing a stunning pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos. TO DIE FOR shoes.
PS They have two cute yet suspicious cats. Joey was kind enough to grace me with his presence.

{surprises ~ near death by NYC taxi ~ purple car ~ studio news}
I am back home!
Last month Chris told me that me not to book any portraits or meetings from May 12-14th that he was planning to take me away for a few days. He knows that once my wedding season kicks off that he will not see very much of me.
Where did we go? Chris took me to Truro for 3 days of sitting by the ocean, wine tasting at the Truro Vineyards, breakfast in bed, cheese plates, champagne, dinner at Black Fish (the best place to eat on the Cape. They do not have a website or sign but you can find them in Truro center) fried clams and real relaxation! It was perfect and once again I feel like the luckiest girl in the galaxy! The getaway was topped of with an early birthday present…sailing lessons! My birthday is not until next moth so I was not expecting presents, but I'll take them!
The day after we returned from Truro my assistant Meredith and I left at 6 a.m. for NYC. On Sat we meet up with Lew & Meriden in Central Park for their e~session. No rain. Thank god. After spending some time in park we decided to shoot on the corner of Amsterdam and 98th where all four of us almost experienced death by NYC taxi. True story and I will be posting all about it soon! Meredin & Lew made us laugh so hard…more on that after their wedding coming in 10~24~-09.
~ On Friday evening we accidentally stumbled into the Dwell Studios sale in SoHo. We went crazy. We lost our minds. We are embarrassed of how we acted (whatever we found the Anthropologie items of our dreams for 1/3 of the price.)
Other studio News!
I have been working on 2008 albums, portrait website,decorating the studio and waiting for my customized blog (taking longer that I thought but my blog designer is in very high demand because her work is outrageously gorgeous so I will wait!)
I know that I am so behind on my blog but I promise coming this week full postings of:
~ Mark & Yoshie
~ Scott & Natalie
~ VOA “ I Remember Mama”
~ Lew & Meredin
Once again I am lucky to have meet the most amazing couples and I get to photograph their weddings!
I have a gorgeous wedding this weekend. This gorgeous wedding belongs to Alicia & John. All I will say is vintage purple car!

Susan...{I hate her}
Amy { I LOVE her home}

Amy and her husband (who is a rocket scientist, really..like a real rocket scientist) are expecting their first child! Amy has such a beautiful home with an amazing eye for detail and use of color! After chatting we found out that a) we both get amazing facials at The Littlest Spa and b) we bought our homes at the same time last summer. My home does not look at all as put together as Amy’s home. Anyway Amy is twice as stunning as her home and I can’t wait to see the nursery!
