So I brought Ernie to the studio with me last Sunday. He was very well behaved! Nothing was destroyed which is always a good thing. A few new clients stopped in to visit as well as old clients. Leslie and Steve {10~25~08} stopped in to say hi. It was great to see them…because they rock! They were surprised to see a big Ernie in front of them, (they expected to see a little Ernie because that is the only image that I have of him on my blog!) So today is all about ERNIE!
P.S. Have a wonderful Easter. The studio will be closed this Sunday.

Congratulations to our April Featured Couple Jessica & Ben who were married in September '08 in Topsfield, MA. Words cannot even begin to express how much we adore these photos from Jessica & Ben's wedding! We created their custom aisle runner using monogram 1D, which the couple also used on their ceremony programs. They also used monogram 5C which we created for them on their matches for their cigar bar. It looks like this wedding was a blast. Also be sure to pick up a copy of The Knot Best Of 2009 Weddings as their aisle runner is featured in it, yay! Congratulations Jessica & Ben!

Studio {Sundays}

Some of you might know that I unofficially opened my new studio space back in November. I opened early under the sweet pressure of the other amazing store owners on my block...they really wanted to include my studio in the first annual Lower Mills Holiday Stroll. One hour before the stroll started I chilled the bottles of champagne, put out dozens of homemade sugar cookies and I whipped the doors open! I was mobbed and it was awesome! Since then I have been wonderfully busy shooting, traveling and holding studio hours by appointment only. I have been figuring out what times/day is best to have the studio "open"..best for my current clients, community and new friends. That day is SUNDAY from 12-5! I am always available to meet at other times by appointment only. I'm planning an official festive opening sometime this summer so stay tuned!

Sean and Liz { e~session} NYC

Last weekend I traveled to NYC to photograph Sean and Liz. They took me to Prospect Park located in the heart of Brooklyn. After 5 years and 4 apartments, Prospect Park has been the one constant in their lives! I know that this is going to sound so cheesy but I had so much fun walking around with S&L. They are so fun and real. Liz is one of those drop dead gorgeous women who greets you with a hug and a kiss.
Liz and Sean are planning a summer seaside wedding in Hingham, MA.
P.S. Don’t let Sean’s button down shirt fool you…he is really a rock star! His bands Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah and Mr. Brownstone are regulars on The Late Show with David Letterman!

Donna and Renee {married} Lake Pearl

After being together for 17 years they are now legally married! Awesome!
Dona and Renee were my first wedding of the 2009 season!! This was a destination wedding for this Florida couple and their guests. My assistant ( the fabulous Meredith) and I were greeted with big warm hugs from everyone! This was one of the most moving and beautiful ceremonies that I have ever photographed!! After 17 years together they both had pre-ceremony jitters and expressed them in their own way. Renee was all giggles and Donna had to get fresh air every 5 minutes!
Congrats Donna and Renee!

Studio News~Studio on location...
The studio will be closed from Feb 1- Feb 16th. I'm off on my annual photo trip and will be making stops in the following states:
My final destination is Sarasota, Florida where I will be photographing the Trignali Dance Group. This should be interesting!
Peek back at the end of February for highlights of my trip. I made a similar trip last winter…and it rained the entire time….Not to mention the fact that I had just returned from spending 3 weeks in the Peruvian Andes eating sheep head soup and all I wanted was my bed and chicken noodle soup!
~ The studio will be avaible via cell & email during this time.
